Đây là một điểm trừ tương đối lớn của game khi so sánh với những siêu phẩmgame nhập vai khác. Tương tự như vậy, game không cho phép người chơi tùy biến tạo hình nhân vật mà chỉ được lựa chọn trên những model có sẵn, đây là một điều khá đáng tiếc.

Về lối chơi, game không quá đặc sắc với hệ thống nhiệm vụ chính tuyến thông thường và hầu như không có nhiệm vụ phụ tuyến. Tất nhiên ở các cấp độ cao hơn, người chơi vẫn có thể tham gia các hoạt động diễn ra hàng ngày như: phụ bản, chiến trường, săn boss… Phong cách điểu khiển của game cũng tương tự như các sản phẩm game non-target hiện đại: Người chơi có thể tùy chọn điều khiển bằng chuột hoặc sử dụng kết hợp các phím định hướng (WASD).

Hệ thống phụ bản trong game được thiết kế không quá phức tạp và đề cao tính đồng đội: Hầu như không có phụ bản nào người chơi có thể vượt qua “solo”. Có nhiều độ khó của phụ bản để người chơi lựa chọn và tất nhiên, phụ bản khó sẽ có phần thưởng giá trị hơn.

Game không sử dụng hệ thống thú cưng thường thấy mà thay vào đó là hệ thống mỹ nhân với sự tương tác người chơi khá thú vị. Người chơi có thể thu thập tối đa 5 mỹ nhân, sau quá trình “nuôi nấng”, các mỹ nhân này sẽ lớn lên và thay đổi ngoại hình trở nên rất sexy, cùng phối hợp chiến đấu với người chơi. Những mỹ nhân này là các nhân vật nổi tiếng trong Tam Quốc: Điêu Thuyền, Tiểu Kiều, Đại Kiều, Tôn Thượng Hương (em gái Tôn Quyền), hay Chúc Dung phu nhân (vợ của Man vương Mạnh Hoạch)…

Có thể nói, mặc dù vẫn còn khá nhiều thiếu sót về game play cũng như nội dung game khá đơn điệu. Song với đồ họa nóng bỏng và hệ thống “mỹ nhân- pet” thú vị, Mỹ Nhân Tam Quốc vẫn là một sản phẩm đầy tiềm năng cho người chơi khám phá. Hơn thế nữa, vì vẫn ở trong giai đoạn test giới hạn nên game hoàn toàn có thể tạo ra những đột biến khi chính thức ra mắt trong thời gian tới.
